Letters To Space is a group collaboration in which sixteen people wrote letters addressed to space. The letters are delivered by a weather balloon, and the weather balloon is set on its journey by half of these people winning in a tug of war match. The letters were scanned before the release to display the variation in peoples responses when they were given a broad topic. Personifying space as a recipient derives it from it’s common classification as an object, or location. The universe cannot be an object, it is an entity that contains all objects. The universe cannot be a location, because it contains all locations.
